VISITING LECTURE dan INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, established an international research collaboration through a Visiting Lecture and International Community Service program held at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The activities took place in Tutorial Room 17, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

On Thursday, 18 December 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, represented by Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati P.W., M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K), together with her team, presented a topic on the development of ischemic stroke models in experimental animals as a foundation for translational studies to comprehensively understand the disease and support new drug development. This activity was conducted in collaboration with Prof. Datin Dr. Sharida Fakurazi and formed part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to strengthen academic networks and support global knowledge exchange between Universitas Brawijaya and Universiti Putra Malaysia.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K) also monitored the activities of two PhD students from the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (Sri Utami and Diana Yuswanti Putri), who are undertaking a Student Mobility program at Universiti Putra Malaysia as part of UB STARS Batch 4 Year 2025 (Universitas Brawijaya Student Academic Research Scheme), under the supervision of Prof. Datin Dr. Sharida Fakurazi and Prof. Madya Dr. Mas Jaffri Masarudin.

Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K) expressed her hope that this activity would initiate further collaboration in the field of stroke research and open more opportunities for collaborative research between Universitas Brawijaya and Universiti Putra Malaysia.
