The Doctoral Program of the Medical Sciences Study Program held a work meeting on 11 December 2025 as part of efforts to evaluate performance and plan future programs. The meeting was attended by the leadership and academic staff of the Medical Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FKUB).

The meeting discussed several important agendas, including the evaluation of the implementation of the previous academic year’s programs, the 2025 performance report and the 2026 work plan, the evaluation of student study progress, the socialization of Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) within Outcome-Based Education (OBE), the results of the tracer study, as well as reports on collaboration activities and proposed changes to the organizational structure of the Doctoral Alumni Association.

The implementation of the work meeting of the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, FKUB, reflected a comprehensive evaluation and planning process. The agenda, which integrated academic program evaluation, performance reporting, work planning, discussion of Key Performance Indicators (IKU), OBE, tracer study outcomes, collaboration, and the role of alumni, demonstrated efforts to align various components to ensure a more focused direction for the study program. The involvement of multiple stakeholders—including faculty leadership, study program management, lecturers, and related parties—strengthened shared understanding and commitment to continuing the agreed-upon policies. In terms of output, the preparation of clear meeting documentation provides a written basis for follow-up actions, ensuring that the meeting does not end at the discussion stage but has the potential to become a concrete and implementable plan.

Through this work meeting, structured follow-up actions supported by indicators and periodic monitoring are necessary to ensure that the outcomes of the meeting do not remain merely as records, but truly become concrete steps toward continuous improvement. The principles of monitoring and evaluation that observe the progress of plan implementation and compare actual achievements with established standards, as outlined in monitoring and evaluation guidelines, are aligned with the efforts that need to be applied within the study program to continuously enhance quality and accountability.
