On 28 October 2023, the Doctoral Program in Medical Science (DPMS) in collaboration with the UB Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held a series of Community Service for Santriwan/ti at the Islamic Boarding School for Orphans and Dhuafa, Singosari Malang, East Java.
Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., Sp.ParK, Chair of the Educational Development Institute (LPP UB), in her speech, said that the Meet UB’S Professor activity is a form of our service to the community. “We, the professors and the team from UB (DPSM and LPPM UB) want to present something useful for the community, especially for nearby residents around the Greater Malang area,” he stressed.
Apart from that, the Professor of Clinical Parasitology, FKUB (Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., Sp.ParK) added, on this occasion we want to do our community service for the students at Al Ikhlas Islamic boarding school, Singosari so that these students will be free from parasitic diseases such as head lice and others.
In this group, we brought along 2 skin and venereal specialists, Dr.dr. Dhelya Widamara, Sp.KK(K) and dr. Suci Prawitasari, SpKK, 2 Professors in Clinical Parasitology, Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., Sp.ParK and Prof. Dr. dr. Teguh Wahyu Sardjono, DTM&H., M.Sc., Sp.ParK, Lecturer in Public Health Sciences, Dr. Lilik Zuhriyah, SKM., M.Kes., doctoral students and undergraduate students who will later carry out education and screening for hair lice suffered by students. It is hoped that with this activity the students will learn to be more focused, achieve better, and be free from head lice. (iw_Anank_dee_psdik)
